Updates
It seems like a lot has been going on. Most recently, I had to go out to Midland for my Uncle Johnny’s funeral. He was such a nice guy, and this was such a sudden loss, that it made it even worse. My aunt seems to be doing okay. And my dad stayed out there a few days to help her take care of things. He might go back a little later to help her out some more.
School has also started. I really like my classes, but I really hate my schedule. I have 1st and 2nd off, so the day is REALLY long. To make it worse, my 3rd/4th block is interrupted by lunch. I REALLY hate that. It totally throws my day out of whack. But at least I’m really liking the kids, so that’s good.
Probably the biggest personal change in my life right now is that I got a puppy. Maggie the Lab (lab mix, really). She’s a shelter dog that I encountered while doing SPCA volunteer work. She’s ALOT of work, but I love having. I am ready to get past the potty training and getting up in the middle of the night bit, but I really enjoy having her. She’s alot of fun, bundles of love. Unfortunately, she’s also ALOT of trouble. Hopefully, we’ll get past that too! I’ll post some pics of her later.
