Delinquent
Man, I’ve been bad about posting. I need to stop that. Not that there’s really been much to post about. Tomorrow we take the TAKS test. I can’t say that I’m looking forward to it, but it is the writing test so I am taking it pretty personally. That’s my gig after all. For the past two or so weeks Steph and I have been trading off the block, which basically mean that halfway through our 90 minute class we trade classes. That way I can give her kiddos a quick boot camp on writing. She says that it really has been helping her kids, so that made it worth it. I feel pretty good about my kids. Hopefully they’d do alright tomorrow.
Sherry came out this past Saturday. We had planned on meeting in Arlington for lunch, but I thought it might be nice if she just came out and spent the night. I guess she did too. We went out to the Dallas World Aquarium, which was alot of fun, but tiring! It was really nice having her out here, and hopefully she can make it out here more often. I do feel bad, though because on Sunday I woke up not feeling very well, and I think it made me pretty grumpy. So I hope she didn’t think that I was being grumpy at her.
And another recent development is I’ve decided to get a pet. Not a ferret this time (although I do miss the ferrets). This time I’m either going to go for a dog or a cat. Now, if I decide to go for a dog, I’m going to have to wait until this summer since they are so high maintenance. If I go for a cat, I could get one now, but I couldn’t take it for walks or the such. So I’m still trying to decide. So any suggestions would be nice!
